The aim of protective coatings completion on truck bodies or truck trailers is to protect the truck/trailer from further deterioration that may have been caused by exposure to the elements, chemicals or harsh cartage conditions. Through consultation and understanding of the environment in which the truck/trailer is being used we can specify what products should be applied to ensure maximum corrosion protection is achieved.
Each cells scope may differ slightly, however the main aim is to strip away and replace the existing protective lining of the cells concrete structure, thus enabling the successful treatment of the industrial, residential or commercial wastewater.
The waste that is treated in these cells ranges from industrial to residential/commercial. The various chemical compositions were called in to play when specifying products to be used as a protective coating in the cells. Product selection was a critical step in the project and was accomplished in conjunction with various suppliers, consultants and the customer.
It was through a combination of great project management and consultation with all involved on the project that allowed this project to succeed within budget and timelines.
Valicote was approached by Australian Paper to build a specification that was temperature resistant and would stand up to the surrounding environmental conditions. Together Valicote and the Paint Manufacturer came up with a specification that fitted not only the requirements of the client but also had a durable long lasting coating that would see many years of maintence free coatings ahead of them.
